| Introduction | about inzone |
Oversight of the Greater Indianapolis Foreign Trade Zone is performed by an 11 member board selected by the FTZ Grantee, the Indianapolis Airport Authority.
INzone is Central Indiana's foreign trade zone - an international economic incentives program designed to enhance foreign trade. Products that enter INzone may not be subject to U.S. Customs duties until they're released for use in the United States. If goods come into the INzone and are then exported again, they may never be subject to U.S. Customs duties.
If you do any sort of business internationally, whether you're a large company or a smaller operation, INzone can probably save you time, money, and hassles. Bring your goods into INzone, and you can work with them in almost any way imaginable-while delaying, reducing, or even possibly eliminating import tariffs.
An INzone Subzone can be ideal for larger importers and potentially frequent users. It's an area created especially for you, in your own warehouse, manufacturing or assembly facility, showroom, or other facility. It can be like having your own “overseas plant.”
No matter how much importing you're doing, chances are good that an INzone General-Purpose Zone can save you money and hassles. It's a full-service facility located at the Indianapolis International Airport that gives you almost every advantage of having a foreign trade zone of your own. We offer third party logistics and an experienced staff that can help you with the "ins & outs" of coordinating your global logistics. INzone also has warehousing space available for long-term product storage and offers third-party logistics.
